Tiny social business can be super powerful. It can bring you a monthly salary while helping another cause at the same time.

Like Kata, a graphic designer who makes colourful posters and restaurant menus for small businesses in her neighbourhood for free and then she makes a salary from 3 online clients. Now the neighbourhood looks like a small gallery with Kata’s designs.

We were building tiny businesses (online and offline) during the last 15 years. In this youth exchange (which is called Micro Biz), you will have a chance to learn how we do it and then you will be building your own tiny biz.

And all of this living in a small village, eating homemade food, hiking, and meeting new fiends.

✈️ It’s free of charge (we will even cover your transport and flights, food and accommodation).

👧 We are looking for participants from Portugal, Romania, Italy, N. Macedonia, and Spain (5 from each country).

🌳👩🏽‍💻 Venue: Sende, a 20 inhabitants village in Spanish mountains, right on the border with Portugal

🗓️ Dates: Arrival on April 3rd and departure on April 11th of 2023

⏲️ Deadline for application: March 15th 2023

⌨️ Link to apply → Apply here

Closest airports are in Porto, Vigo and Santiago de Compostela.

🏡You will be sleeping and working in Sende, one of the first rural coworking and coliving spaces in the world. Village houses, garages, and wineyards converted into creative spaces.

🚌 THE MAXIMUM WE CAN COVER FOR YOUR TRAVEL COSTS:

Romania: 360€

N. Macedonia: 360€

Italy: 275€

Portugal: 210€

Spain: 23€

PROGRAM:

The program is designed to make you say:

Wow, I learned something new and I can use it already.

We will use a non-formal education. You will be encouraged to teach others, share, experiment, test, research, build and publish.

SELECTION:

It will be valued especially the participation of young people who are living in the rural or are interested in relocating to a rural area for the development of some type of personal / business project or they are already developing it. But this should not be a barrier to apply even if you live in the center of Skopje.

When you get selected, you will receive a long info-pack where you will get needed information with all practicalities (what to bring, how to organize travel and share ride with other participants, small tasks that you have to prepare before coming to Sende etc.)

Official project name: Micro Biz

Supported by Erasmus+ programme, SuA, and Sende
